The Cavaliers want to play faster.

Cleveland fell into an 0-2 hole when it dropped back-to-back games to the Celtics in Boston to open the Eastern Conference Finals. Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said the team plans to play at a quicker tempo Saturday in Game 3.

"We have to come out with a sense of urgency to attack early, don't ease into the game or let [Boston] off the hook," Lue said to reporters after Cleveland’s practice Friday (via ESPN). "We know they play well at home, and they had two good games. Now it's our turn."

Cleveland has scored less than 95 points in both games of the series. Lue said he’ll rely on point guard George Hill to push the Cavaliers' pace. Hill, who was dealt to Cleveland at the trade deadline, averaged 9.4 points and 2.8 assists in 24 games with the Cavaliers during the regular season.

"We want to change it up with [Hill] being able to attack the bigs [on switches] and being aggressive, playing with more pace, miss or makes, getting the ball in fast,” Lue said. “Just playing with more speed."

Cavaliers big man Kevin Love said the team is more efficient offensively when it plays in transition.

“When you are able to play with pace, you are able to let LeBron play downhill and the other guys play downhill,” Love said. “It opens up the floor and lets us get the shots we want and shoot a higher percentage. That's key for us.”

The Cavaliers and Celtics will tip off Game 3 in Cleveland on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET.

After scoring 15 points in the Cavs' blowout loss in Game 1, James scored 42 in Game 2, which the Celtics won 107-94. James is averaging a league-leading 33.4 ppg in the playoffs.
