NBA Hall of Famer Bill Russell was hospitalized because of dehyrdration late Friday night, according to TMZ, but based on Russell's tweet Saturday, he's home and his sense of humor is intact.

Russell tweeted his thanks to everyone for thinking of him, and after acknowledging he was hospitalized, wrote, "My wife likes to remind me I don’t drink enough. On my way home & as most my friends know I don’t have a heart to give me trouble."

Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ reported an ambulance transported Russell from his home in the Seattle area to a local hospital. Russell, 84, was experiencing heart trouble and shortness of breath, according to TMZ.

Russell won a record 11 NBA championships, all with the Celtics, and is considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time.
