Yogi Ferrell is heading to the Kings.

Sacramento plans to sign the 25-year-old point guard to a two-year, $6.2 million contract, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

The Mavericks rescinded Ferrell's qualifying offer last week, making him an unrestricted free agent. But the two sides agreed on a two-year, $5.3 million deal Thursday that Ferrell backed out of Friday morning.

“We felt uncomfortable and will weigh our options,” Ferrell's agent, Cervando Tejeda, told Yahoo.

The Mavericks found out about Ferrell's decision by reading the Yahoo report, according to ESPN.com.

Ferrell averaged 10.2 points and 2.5 assists in 82 games for Dallas last season. He also knocked down 37.3 percent of his 3-pointers.

Ferrell, who played collegiately at Indiana, wasn’t selected in the 2016 draft. He played 10 games for the Nets before he was signed by the Mavericks in January 2017.

The Kings finished 2017-18 with a 27-55 record and missed the playoffs for the 12th straight season.
