Al Jefferson will not be in a Pacers uniform next season.

Indiana released the 33-year-old center Monday, according to Yahoo Sports. Jefferson, who averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 2017-18, will now become an unrestricted free agent.

Jefferson appeared in 102 games over the last two seasons for the Pacers. He signed a three-year, $30 million contract with Indiana in July 2016.

Jefferson’s best season came in 2013-14 when he averaged 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game with Charlotte. He has also played for the Celtics, Timberwolves and Jazz during his 14-year career.

The Pacers reportedly agreed to a three-year, $22 million contract with Doug McDermott on Sunday.
