Danny Green will not be entering free agency this summer.

The 31-year-old forward opted into the final year of his contract with the Spurs, according to a report from the San Antonio Express-News. Green will make $10 million in 2018-19, the report says.

Green averaged 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for San Antonio last season. He also shot 36.3 percent from 3-point range and tallied 1.1 blocks per contest.

Green has spent the last eight seasons with the Spurs. He played a key role on San Antonio’s championship team in 2013-14 and was named to the NBA All-Defensive team three seasons later.

The Spurs finished 2017-18 with a 47-35 record. They were eliminated from the playoffs by the Warriors in the first round.

Spurs star Kawhi Leonard is reportedly unhappy with the team and is trying to force a trade out of San Antonio.
