Kendrick Perkins is no longer a member of the Cavaliers.

Cleveland waived the 33-year-old center Tuesday, according to a report from ESPN. The Cavs signed Perkins in mid-April to fill out their playoff roster.

Perkins appeared in just one game for Cleveland this season. He angered the Warriors during the NBA Finals when star Stephen Curry made contact with him on the Cavs bench after shooting a 3-pointer.

Golden State was upset Perkins did not move his legs and called it a "dangerous play," according to a report from ESPN.

Perkins has averaged 5.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over his 15-year career. He won a title with the Celtics in 2007-08.

LeBron James announced he was leaving the Cavs and signed a four-year, $154 million contract with the Lakers when free agency began July 1. Cleveland has also reportedly been considering dealing forward Kevin Love.
