Thaddeus Young could become a free agent this summer.
The 29-year-old Pacers power forward is considering declining his $13.7 million option player option, according to a report by ESPN. Young would decide to enter free agency in hopes of securing a long-term contract, the report says.
Young averaged 11.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for Indiana last season. He shot 48.7 percent from the field and knocked down 32 percent of his 3-pointers.
Young has also played for the 76ers, Timberwolves and Nets during his 11-year career. His best statistical season came in 2015-16 when he averaged 15.1 points per game for Brooklyn.
The Pacers finished 2017-18 with a 48-34 record. They fell to the Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs.
