Trevor Booker is taking his talent overseas.

The veteran forward announced Wednesday on Twitter he is heading to China for the start of next season. He's not ready to give up on an NBA return, though, as he added: "The summer didn't pan out as I hoped, but I assure you that I'll be back on a NBA floor terrorizing people again soon enough."

Booker didn't announce terms of the deal, but according to HoopsHype's Alex Kennedy, Booker signed a one-year deal with Shanxi Brave Dragons and will earn $2 million plus incentives.

HoopsHype also reported Booker received interest from the Cavaliers, Heat and Timberwolves before signing with a team in the Chinese Basketball Association.

During Booker's time in the NBA, he played on five different teams with his longest stint being four years with the Wizards. Booker played in 68 games last season split between the Nets, Pacers and 76ers.

He averaged 6.3 points and 4.7 rebounds throughout his career, appearing in 532 games over eight NBA seasons.
