The Spurs selected Miami shooting guard Lonnie Walker with the No. 18 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, ending his small slide.

Walker, expected to be a lottery pick, reportedly dropped a few picks because of some injury concerns.

The former five-star recruit spent just one season with the Hurricanes, averaging 11.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Walker projects as an athletic combo guard who can put the ball on the floor, play solid defense and hit shots from 3-point range.

All eyes are on Kawhi Leonard in San Antonio this summer after he reportedly asked for a trade, but the team added a nice young piece in Walker regardless of where Leonard plays next season.
