Mo Bamba really doesn't want the Grizzlies to draft him Thursday.

According to ESPN, Bamba is going out of his way to avoid getting picked by Memphis.

"Mo Bamba has refused to come to work out for Memphis, refused to share his medicals, and has told them openly he would prefer not to be in Memphis," ESPN draft analyst Jonathan Givony said on Draft Express this week.

The Grizzlies hold the No. 4 overall pick in the NBA Draft which starts Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. Several mock drafts have Memphis taking the 7-1 center.

This does not mean the Grizzlies won't take Bamba, or even take him and subsequently trade him, but usually if a player tells a team not to take him, said team will oblige.

Just last season the Celtics passed on Kansas forward Josh Jackson because he did not meet with Boston in the days leading up to the draft.

Bamba set a combine record with a 7-10 wingspan at the NBA combine and is one of the most intriguing prospects in the the draft with his ability to defend almost every position on the court and stretch it with his ability to shoot.

He is also developing well as a player in the paint.
