Lonzo Ball continues to battle knee injuries.

The 20-year-old Lakers guard has a torn meniscus, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. Ball is expected to be fully healthy by the start of training camp, the report says.

The report did not specify when the injury occurred. Ball dealt with a knee contusion in late March and also missed games last season because of an MCL sprain.

Ball had a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) shot in his left knee during the offseason, according to a report from ESPN.

Ball was selected with the second-overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Lakers. He averaged 10.2 points and 7.2 assists in 52 appearances during his rookie season.

Los Angeles finished 2017-18 with a 35-47 record and missed the playoffs for a fifth straight season.

The Lakers are expected to have a busy offseason as they are reportedly pursuing LeBron James and Paul George in free agency. They are also attempting to trade for disgruntled Spurs star Kawhi Leonard, according to multiple reports.
