The King is bound for Los Angeles, and he's taking his number with him.

The Lakers have updated their online store to promote jerseys and t-shirts featuring LeBron James' No. 23 in purple and gold on the home page.

James opted out of his contract with Cavaliers on Friday to become free agent and announced Sunday through his agency that he agreed to a four-year contract worth $154 million with the Lakers.

James, 33, averaged 27.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for the Cavs last season. The four-time MVP upped those numbers to 34 points and 9.1 rebounds during Cleveland’s run to the NBA Finals before being swept by the Warriors.
