LeBron James and Rajon Rondo spent their off day watching college basketball as they traveled to Charlottesville, Va., to watch No. 2 Duke defeat No. 3 Virginia, 81-71.

Lakers stars James and Rondo, who sat underneath Duke's basket, made the trip while they already were traveling to the East Coast for Los Angeles' matchup in Philadelphia against the 76ers.

Despite the possible distraction of having two NBA stars in attendance, Duke's Zion Williamson said he didn't even realize James was there and he didn't pay attention to any of the buzz.

"LeBron was out there?" Williamson, the projected No. 1 pick in June's NBA Draft, asked after the game (per ESPN). "I didn't see LeBron."

Duke forward RJ Barrett said the Blue Devils players "noticed," but they were just focused on winning the game.

James had built a relationship with Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski while playing with the U.S. men's national team when Krzyzewski was the head coach. Krzyzewski revealed after the game that James had texted him, saying he might come and watch the game.

"He and I are really good friends. And he helped me look good in Beijing and in London. So he's welcome to come around any time. But it was cool he was here," Krzyzewski said.
