Kyrie Irving's absence from the court was short-lived.

The Celtics point guard isn't 100 percent healed, but he participated in the team's entire off-day practice Saturday and is expected to return to the lineup Sunday against the Magic.

"I'm still going to need some work, but I'm just ready to go back out there and play," Irving said, via ESPN. "I'm just glad I had a few days to kind of reset and do the things needed in order to put myself in a great position to go out there and play."

Irving sat out Thursday's loss to the 76ers with a nagging shoulder injury, and the team was held to a season-low 80 points as they turned the ball over 19 times. Although an MRI showed no structural damage, he is expected to receive treatment as he rehabs the injury.

Irving, 25, is averaging 24.1 points, 5.0 assists and 3.6 rebounds over 32.7 minutes per game in 43 contests this season.

The Celtics (34-12) will look to snap their two-game skid when they host the Magic (13-32) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
