Kyle Lowry is dealing with some serious back pain.

The Raptors point guard has been absent for the better part of two weeks dealing with injuries and has played in one of Toronto's last eight games.

According to ESPN, Lowry won't play on New Year's Day, as he recently received injections to deal with his lower back soreness. There is no timetable for his return.

The four-time All-Star is averaging 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 9.8 assists this season.

The Raptors are 27-11 and boast the best record in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto will take on Utah at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
