The Knicks have removed a photo of Kevin Durant from a season ticket promotion.
The Warriors star was shown guarding Knicks rookie forward Mitchell Robinson in the ad — which encouraged fans to renew their ticket packages in the subscriber portal of the team’s website.

The Knicks said in a statement to the New York Daily News the image was one of “several rotating photos on the website.”
“Game action photos are used all the time for marketing purposes,” the statement read. “But given everything going on, we took precaution of taking the photo down.”
The Knicks will have two max salary spots in the offseason following their trade with the Mavericks late last month and they’re expected to pursue the 30-year-old star if he becomes a free agent.
Durant recently ripped the media for its coverage of his impeding free agency.
"I have nothing to do with the Knicks," Durant said at a press conference last weekend. “I'm trying to play basketball. Y'all come in here every day, ask me about free agency, ask my teammates, my coaches. You rile up the fans about it. Let us play basketball. That's all I'm saying.”
The Knicks have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season and will enter their matchup Monday against the Cavaliers with a 10-45 record.
