Imagine Kirk Cousins' surprise when he read in a newspaper Tuesday morning that he was ejected from the Pelicans-Thunder game for punching Russell Westbrook.

The Redskins quarterback had fun with the obvious snafu in the newspaper, which clearly meant to say it was DeMarcus Cousins who was ejected from the NBA game Monday night, tweeting, "Glad to see my fighting skills are getting proper recognition" with a picture of the mistake.

Sadly, this isn't like online journalism where the mistake can be quickly corrected. This is in print, so it's forever out there that Kirk Cousins plays in the NBA — and violently.

To add insult to injury, "knocked Westbrook the floor" appears to be missing a word.

At least Kirk Cousins has a sense of humor over the gaffe.
