The Kings could be looking to add a star before the Feb. 7 trade deadline.

Sacramento has “expressed interest” in acquiring Marc Gasol from the Grizzlies, according to a report from The Ringer, which cites unidentified league sources. Memphis is reportedly “listening to offers” for the 33-year-old center.

The Grizzlies are also hoping to include Chandler Parsons in a deal involving Gasol, the report says.

Gasol is averaging 15.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 33.7 minutes per game this season. He has been with the Grizzlies since 2008-09.

The three-time All-Star signed a five-year, $110 million extension with Memphis in July 2015. He holds a player option, worth a little more than $25 million, for next season.

The Kings have been one of the most surprising teams in the NBA this season and entered play Monday three games out of the final Western Conference playoff spot with a 25-25 record.
