As tensions continue to grow with the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard and he continues to miss time due to a lingering quad injury, it appears his future in San Antonio might not be as clear as it once was.

NBA teams are reportedly circling like "vultures" preparing to inquire about Leonard's availability during the offseason.

In a guest appearance on "Outside The Lines," ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports, “I have already talked to several NBA general managers. At the end of this season, teams will call the Spurs and inquire about the availability of Kawhi Leonard.”

Windhorst added, "The fact that that would even happen is a dramatic shift that none of us could have foreseen coming."

Leonard has only played in nine games after missing the first 27, and hasn't played since he was shut down in January. The star forward returned to New York earlier this week to continue rehab on his quad for the second time this season and it was reported there is no clear timetable on when he will be back with the team.

With only four games remaining for the Spurs in the regular season, Leonard's return seems unlikely this season.
