The Wizards have won five straight games entering Tuesday despite the absence of John Wall and a myriad of team issues and trade rumors.

Wall, out with a knee injury, didn't make things easier on the organization Tuesday, appearing on ESPN and calling out Marcin Gortat's Feb. 1 tweet in which the center put an emphasis on a victory over the Raptors being a great "team" win without Wall in the lineup.

Wall quoted Gortat's tweet with an "Lol," comment although he later deleted it.

"Just, the way he put the 'team,' you know what I mean? The way he put the team in the little, exclamation points, and I'm like, 'whoa,'" Wall said on ESPN Tuesday.

"But it is what it is, everybody has their own opinion. They say what they say. I know what I do, and what I bring to a team. I know I'm a team player. I average almost 10 assists per game, I'm very proud for it, and finding my teammates and getting these guys easy shots.

"It was more just shocking to hear from him, and understanding that he gets the most assists from me, and the most spoon-fed baskets ever."

While Wall is expected back this season, Gortat's future with the team is up in the air as he is reportedly on the trading block.
