The Wizards were not pleased when Nuggets center Nikola Jokic bumped into coach Scott Brooks.

Specifically, John Wall called out Jokic, saying it's an unwritten rule that you don't touch a coach.

"That's something you don't do," Wizards star John Wall said. "No matter what's going on between the players or teammates, that's something you don't do to a coach. It's like me calling a coach a certain name. But hopefully he'll apologize."

The incident occurred with less than a minute left in the game after Brooks called a timeout. He was walking onto the court and Jokic was coming off. Brooks was upset and flagged down an official, who issued Jokic a technical foul.

The Wizards, who were up 104-102, capitalized with an extra made free throw and ended up winning 109-104.

"I tried to look at the score and hit ... the coach," Jokic said, via ESPN.com. "I'm sorry because I put my team in a bad position."

Nuggets coach Michael Malone called out Brooks and the Wizards, saying it was clearly an accident.

"I don't think it was intentional either," Malone said. "Scott Brooks is a very good coach and a good guy. Things happen in the heat of the moment you can't always explain."
