Jimmer Fredette is looking to join a new team.
The Suns are declining the six-year NBA pro's team option for 2019-20, according to a report from The Athletic, which cites unidentified league sources.
Now Fredette has his sights set on the Warriors and is expected to play on Golden State's summer league team this offseason with the hope of earning a roster spot.

Fredette made a name for himself as a long-range sniper at BYU and was selected by the Bucks with the 10th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, but was later traded to the Kings.
He left the league to play for the Shanghai Sharks of China in 2016 and returned to the United States this past March to sign a two-year deal with a depleted Phoenix team.
Fredette tallied 10.8 points per game while shooting 37.2% from behind the arc in his six appearances for the Suns in 2018-19. But he's known to be streaky.
Warriors stars Kevin Durant (Achilles) and Klay Thompson (ACL) suffered serious injuries in the 2019 NBA Finals, so they might be able to use 30-year-old Fredette scoring talent to use if he's able to show some consistency.
