James Harden took his step-back jumper a little too far Monday night.

In the final minute of Houston's 102-97 win over Utah, the Rockets star took two extra steps on his step-back to get behind the 3-point line before being fouled by Jazz guard Ricky Rubio.

Harden was awarded three free throws in the crucial one-possession game with 54.6 seconds left in the game despite the missed travel call.

"You watch the play? What do you think?" Rubio told reporters when asked if he thought Harden traveled. "I'm not going to answer, but I think 100 percent of the people know the answer."

At the same time, Harden didn't deny the fact that he got away with the missed call.

"What do you want me to say? Tell on myself?" Harden said.

While the allowance of an extra couple steps has sparked some outrage, there's no denying Harden's dominance. The reigning NBA MVP had a career night as he led Houston to its fourth consecutive win, tallying 47 points and recording his league-leading 6th 40-point game this season.

The Rockets (15-14) are next slated to host the Wizards (12-18) at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.
