High school basketball player LaMelo Ball stole the show with an astonishing 92-point game.

The 15-year-old achieved the feat in China Hills High School's 146-123 win over Los Osos.

The younger brother of UCLA star Lonzo, who is tipped to be a top-five pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Ball scored 41 of his points in the final quarter on Tuesday.

LaMelo went 37-for-61 from the field as he finished with 63 points in the second half.

"About the third quarter, my dad said, 'Keep shooting,'" LaMelo said during a radio interview on KLAC-AM on Wednesday. "If I knew I was going to score that much, I would have shot more in the first half."

In the NBA, Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for most points scored in a game with 100, way back in 1962.

Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant, who retired last season, is second on the list with 81.
