A trip back to his college town ended in handcuffs for Hawks guard Tyler Dorsey, who was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants early Saturday morning in Eugene, Ore.

Police pulled over Dorsey’s Land Rover and discovered an open container on the passenger side floorboard, Eugene police spokesperson Melinda McLaughlin told USA Today.

"Upon speaking with Dorsey, the officer suspected impairment," McLaughlin said. “After an investigation, Dorsey was charged with DUII, driving without lights, and open container."

According to The Oregonian, Dorsey was released shortly after being booked after posting $590 bail.

Dorsey, who played two collegiate seasons for Oregon, averaged 7.2 points in 56 games for the Hawks in his rookie season after being drafted in the second round in 2017.
