After scoring 27 points and hitting the winning shot in the Bucks' thrilling 104-102 win over the Celtics on Sunday, Giannis Antetokounmpo was the toast of Milwaukee.

Yet incredible as it seems, when the "Greek Freak" went out to dinner right after the game at a Milwaukee restaurant, he couldn't find a seat and left.

A customer at BelAir Cantina, a Mexican restaurant located about a mile from BMO Harris Bradley Center, captured the strange scene.

According to various social media posts, the situation grew uncomfortable, as some patrons began yelling for the restaurant to find Antetokounmpo a seat. Some posts credited Antetokounmpo with quietly waiting. And Antetokounmpo's girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, later posted on Twitter her support for the restaurant.

"Its all good, much love for you guys also thanks to all of the concerned fans I appreciate your support @BelAirCantina," Riddlesprigger tweeted.

It's hard to believe the restaurant couldn't make some arrangements to seat the night's hero, but it was extremely busy (thanks in part to fans celebrating the Bucks' victory). BelAir Cantina issued an apology Sunday night.

“We are very sorry we weren’t able to seat Giannis in as timely of a manner as we would have hoped," the restaurant noted. The Bucks big win, thanks to his tip in and the team’s great play, combined with today’s spring weather had people turn out in droves to celebrate and we had quite a wait.

"We were honored he came in for a celebratory meal, and wish we could have accommodated him right away. We welcome him back Thursday after another Bucks win and will hold open a table.  And to turn this into a positive for everyone, we are pledging that if the Bucks win the series Thursday night in Milwaukee, we will provide all Bucks fans with a free taco with any purchase all day Friday at all our locations. #GoBucks #BucksIn6"

The Bucks and Celtics are tied 2-2, with Game 5 Tuesday night in Boston.
