Former North Carolina standout and NBA guard P.J. Hairston is wanted in Guilford County, N.C., after being charged with assault on a female.

According to The News & Record in Greensboro, Guilford County Chief Assistant District Attorney Howard Neumann on Friday said Hairston also has an outstanding warrant for interfering with emergency communication and injury to personal property.

The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office added that Hairston is also wanted for driving with a revoked license in Vance County, N.C., and has a pending domestic violence protective order.

Hairston has a criminal history that dates back to 2013 when he received a speeding ticket and was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession. He sat out 10 games during his junior year as a result before the school announced in December 2013 that it would not reinstate him.

Hairston, 25, was selected by the Heat with the 26th overall pick in the 2014 draft and later played for the Hornets and Grizzlies.
