Former NBA player J.J. Hickson was arrested Friday in connection to an armed robbery in Georgia, according to Fox 5 Atlanta, which described the incident as a "frightening home invasion."

"The victim was beat up pretty good, and they took some personal items from the residence," Captain John Kennedy of Coweta County Sheriff's Office said. "And at that point in time through the help of a canvass we were able to identify a suspect and a suspect vehicle. We were able to identify a suspect from that."

The report says two men were involved, but Hickson was the only one charged with armed robbery with a knife. He is being held without bond, according to AJC.com, citing jail records.

Hickson, 29, played 10 seasons in the NBA with five teams. He started his career in Cleveland with the Cavs and was best known for his time playing alongside LeBron James from 2008-10. He last played with the Wizards in 2015-16.
