Former NBA player Glen "Big Baby" Davis was reportedly arrested in Maryland last month and later indicted on seven counts of drug possession and distribution.

According to Brian Kuebler of ABC2 WMAR Baltimore, police arrested Davis Feb. 7 at a Hampton Inn in Aberdeen. Police allegedly found 126 grams of marijuana and a briefcase containing $92,164. Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber told ABC2 the briefcase also had a ledger "that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics."

Davis' attorney told ABC2 that Davis "adamantly maintains his innocence." He is due in court early next month.

Davis averaged 8.0 points and 4.4 rebounds during an eight-season NBA career with the Celtics, Magic and Clippers. He's best known for his role as a rookie on the Celtics' 2008 NBA championship team. The 32-year-old Davis has committed to play in the BIG3 league.
