Kevin Durant will reportedly announce his free-agent destination on his company-owned sports business network The Boardroom on Sunday.
The New York Times say the Golden State Warriors plan to offer Durant a five-year, $221million max deal when free agency begins at 6pm Eastern Time.
Durant declined his $31.5million option with the Warriors to become an unrestricted free agent.
It has been speculated that the 30-year-old will leave Golden State to sign with a different team, though his long-term future has become complicated since he ruptured his Achilles during the NBA Finals.
It was reported that he would meet with four teams, with one ESPN report claiming Durant has narrowed his list of potential teams down to the Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.
Another ESPN report suggested Durant and Kawhi Leonard could team up, with the Clippers and Knicks as the most likely landing spot for the pair.
The New York Times added the Nets have been "aggressively pursuing" Durant after securing "a formal commitment" from Kyrie Irving, who is expected to leave the Boston Celtics.
