Dirk Nowitzki isn't the player he used to be and the Mavericks forward isn't afraid to make a joke about it, either.
Nowitzki is 40 years old and coming off a lackluster 2017-18 season in which he averaged 24.7 minutes and just 12 points.
He agreed to a one-year deal with the Mavs earlier this summer and it appears he was given an offseason drug test Saturday.
That's when Nowitzki made a hilarious joke about it.
"Just had off season drug testing," Nowitzki wrote on Twitter. "Told the guy: Did you see me move last year?? If I was on something I need to change the product ASAP!!!"
Nowitzki is entering his 21st season in the NBA and will become the first player in the league's history to play that many straight seasons on the same team.
