As everyone around the NBA waits for Kawhi Leonard's free-agency decision, even his Raptors teammates don't know where he will land next.

Danny Green, who is waiting to see what Leonard does before deciding where he will sign in free agency, told Yahoo Sports Canada that he's been doing his best to give the NBA Finals MVP some space.

“I try to leave him alone because I already know the hectic process and everybody is probably blowing his phone up,” Green said. “So if I do communicate with him, it’s through his camp. I don’t want to blow his phone up.”

Green and Leonard have been teammates for quite some time as the two played together with the Spurs starting in 2011. They both were traded to the Raptors last summer.

Leonard and his camp made it clear earlier this week that they want to keep Leonard's free agency process private until he's ready to make an announcement. ESPN reported teams have been told: "If information on your presentation gets out, you’re really imperiling your chance to sign Kawhi Leonard."

So far everything about Leonard's free agency has been kept quiet, and Leonard's camp indicated Wednesday that he would take his time reaching a decision. Though it appears the Clippers are out of the race so it'll come down between the Lakers and the Raptors, according to Fox Sports.

Leonard led the Raptors to their first NBA championship this past season, defeating the Warriors in six games in the NBA Finals. The three-time All-Star played an integral role, averaging 30.5 points with 9.1 assists per game during the postseason.
