Shaquille O'Neal and Damian Lillard have ignited an intense rap battle.
It all started when the Portland guard said on "The Joe Budden Podcast" that Shaq was only a popular rapper because of his talent on the basketball court rather than his lyrics.
“I think I rap better than Shaq,” Lillard said. “I think he was viewed as Shaq. People [weren't] looking at him like he was a real rapper. They was like, ‘That’s Shaq rapping,’ so of course, it was a big deal.”
Shaq caught wind of Lillard's comments and responded with a diss track of his own. He posted a video on Instagram with the caption, "I except all challenges," accompanied by a puppet that resembled Shaq rapping along to the lyrics.
One highlight from the track:

Shaq still bang on it
MVP candidate you are not one
Platinum plaques on my wall go and get you some
Lyrically, I’m three-time Finals MVP
I can’t believe some clown is testing me.”

Lillard responded to Shaq's latest diss, writing on Twitter, "Check back in the AM." He stayed true to his word by dropping another track Tuesday in response to Shaq's latest lyrics.

This time around, Lillard released a song called "Reign Reign Go Away" where Lillard took shots at Shaq and claimed: “Kobe won you them rings though."
