DeAndre Jordan looks to have sealed his departure from the Los Angeles Clippers after the team thanked the All-Star center for his efforts.

Jordan reportedly opted out of the final year of his contract with the Clippers on Friday, making him a free agent.

And amid reports that NBA champions the Golden State Warriors could make an unlikely bid for Jordan, the Clippers seemingly confirmed his imminent exit.

"Thank you, DeAndre," the team posted on Twitter.

The 29-year-old is likely to interest several teams on the free agency market, having averaged a career-high 15.2 rebounds in 2017-18 in addition to 12.0 points.

The Dallas Mavericks appear Jordan's probable destination, but an offer from the dominant Warriors could be of interest.

Free agency officially begins on Sunday.
