The Bulls seem prepared to make a commitment to Jim Boylen.
According to The Athletic, Chicago has agreed to adjust its new head coach's contract, granting him a salary increase for the final two years of his deal.

There initially were reports of unrest among Bulls players when Boylen took control of the team after the firing of Fred Hoiberg. But those stories have died down in recent weeks.
Chicago fired Hoiberg after he led the team to a 5-19 start. The Bulls are 5-13 with Boylen as the head coach.
The Bulls are now 10-32 and sit 13th in the Eastern Conference. Chicago will take on the Jazz on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET in Utah.
