LeBron James was in attendance for his son Bronny's sold-out AAU game Sunday, but the game was canceled before it even started after there was a heated exchange between a security guard and a parent.

According to Yahoo Sports, the elder James snuck into the gym of Liberty High School through a side door to watch his 13-year-old son play. The stands filled up more than a half-hour before tip-off with fans anticipating the appearance of both James'.

The incident happened when members of the opposing team, Chicago-based Mean Streets, couldn't not get into the gym because it was too crowded.

“The security got all up in people’s face, and I guess that’s how all the commotion started,” Nicole Bankston, a mother of a Mean Streets player, said. “I guess after that they took the teams out of the gym because of the commotion. That’s all it was. It wasn’t a fight.”

Yahoo Sports added that as organizers made a decision whether to cancel the game, there was a half-hour that "featured numerous screaming matches, a woman threatening to walk on the floor of a different game in protest and a generally chaotic scene that amused the two dozen college basketball coaches sitting in the stands scouting a different game."

Three school police officers came to the gym to help calm down tensions and the $15 tickets were refunded.
