Banvit and Nanterre booked their places in the last 16 of the FIBA Basketball Champions League with respective wins over Rosa Radom and Bonn on Wednesday.

Damian Kulig was the star for Banvit as he put up 22 points and nine rebounds in a convincing 74-64 beating of their rock-bottom visitors in Group C.

Venezia remained in the hunt for the next round in the same pool by defeating Petrol Olimpija 84-67, but not enough teams can prevent Banvit – who are now 9-3 – dropping out of the top four.

Nanterre make it out of Group D thanks to a 93-90 beating of Bonn, with Terran Petteway top scoring with 17 points - Julian Gamble's 21 proving in vain as the visitors slumped to 4-8 and saw their own hopes diminish.

Pool D leaders Besiktas needed overtime to defeat Aris 72-65, while in Group A Monaco improved to a perfect 12-0 with an 84-78 win at Oldenburg, with both teams already through, while Enisey beat Hapoel Holon 98-93.

In Group B, Gaziantep remained in the frame for a top-four spot with a 103-91 win at Ventspils.

PAOK could have forced their way above Ventspils but saw their hopes of reaching the last 16 damaged by a 93-79 defeat against Tenerife, who are already through.
