Trash talk is common on the basketball court, but when it’s being hurled by a cheerleader — that’s not cool (though maybe a little funny).

An Arizona cheerleader was ejected from the Wildcats’ road game against Arizona State on Thursday when a game official busted him for heckling opposing players by name through a megaphone.

ASU guard Remy Martin was lining up for a second-half free throw when the cheerleader yelled, “Not today, Remy.”

Referee Randy McCall proceeded to give the cheerleader a quick hook.

"He was yelling, using the [megaphone] to call out people by name, which is not acceptable," McCall said, according to the Arizona Republic. "And he was asked to please stop, and he chose not to."

Despite a shorthanded cheerleading squad, Arizona won the game 77-70.
