Nancy Lieberman has gone from substitute to star.

The Hall of Famer and former WNBA standout was voted BIG3 Coach of the Year in her first season after leading the Power to the league's best record and the championship game.

Lieberman wasn't the only member of her team to walk away with a win, as Chris Andersen was named Defensive Player of the Year and Corey Maggette earned league MVP honors.

Lieberman, 60, was hired in March to replace Clyde Drexler as coach of the Power. She had previously become the first woman to coach a men's professional sports team when she was hired to lead the Texas Legends of the NBA's D-League and later served as assistant coach for the Kings.

The Power (7-1) will play Michael Cooper's 3's Company (5-3) in the championship matchup Friday.
