Phillies' J.P. Crawford out 4 to 6 weeks with fractured hand

The Phillies have dealt with a lot of injuries lately, with the latest coming to infielder J.P. Crawford, who suffered a fractured left hand after getting hit by a pitch from Cardinals starter Luke Weaver Tuesday.

Philadelphia announced the injury after the 7-6 loss.

The 23-year-old player was batting .194 with two home runs and eight RBIs as the time of the injury.

The Phillies started off the season red hot but have cooled down as of late with key injuries to players such as Rhys Hoskins, who suffered a broken jaw in a game against the Dodgers.

Philadelphia is 6-4 in its last 10 after losing five of their previous six before that run.
