Brewers pitcher Adrian Houser had a relief outing he’ll never forget Sunday.
The 25-year-old right hander came in from the bullpen with the Brewers trailing the Phillies 8-5 in the top of the eighth. Before Houser could start the inning, he vomited on the field.
Houser stayed in the game. But, he threw up again after facing two Philadelphia hitters.
Houser again remained on the mound and finished the inning. He allowed two hits and one run.
Houser was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday. The temperature was in the low-90s in Milwaukee during the game.
