Pemain badminton beregu negara, Cheah Yee See, masih menanti siapakah pemain yang akan berganding dengannya untuk tahun depan selepas Chan Peng Soon kembali berpasangan dengan Goh Liu Ying.
Siri kecederaan yang menimpa Liu Ying memberi laluan buat Yee See digandingkan bersama Peng Soon sejak Jun lalu.
Sepanjang lima bulan bersama, Yee See mengakui permainanya semakin meningkat dan pencapaian tertinggi pernah dikecapi pasangan itu adalah menjuarai Terbuka Russia pada Julai lalu.
Kini, selepas Peng Soon dan Liu Ying diumumkan akan bersama semula bermula bulan depan, Yee See masih belum pasti bagaimana hala tujunya untuk 2018.
"Sekarang saya masih tidak tahu lagi siapa pasangan saya tetapi saya akan membuat ujian dalam beberapa kejohanan," ujar Yee See.
Kemungkinan dia akan digandingkan dengan Ho Pang Ron atau Chen Tang Jie, bagaimanapun mereka akan beraksi secara bergilir-gilir bagi dinilai tahap keserasian dan prestasi.
Jurulatih beregu campuran, Pang Cheh Chang, berkata keputusan akhir siapa akan menjadi pasangan Yee See akan diputuskan selewat-lewatnya selepas Mac depan.
"Kami akan beri peluang kepada Yee See dahulu. Selepas itu, kami akan lihat siapa yang lebih sesuai sama ada Pang Ron atau Tang Jie," katanya.
