Separuh akhir menyaksikan V Shem dan Wee Kiong mencongak perhitungan menentang seteru mereka dari China, Chiao Biao-Hong Wei.
Seperti aksi terakhir peringkat kumpulan sebelumnya, V Shem dan Wee Kiong tidak ada masalah menentukan rentak permainan.
Dengan reputasi sebagai beregu nombor satu dunia, V Shem dan Wee Kiong juga berupaya untuk membuat lawan tertekan bagaimana untuk menandingi mereka.

"Pada perlawanan lepas, kami cuba untuk menyimpan tenaga dan dalam aksi separuh akhir, kami memberikan yang terbaik. Pada perlawanan akhir nanti, kami harus bertindak lebih bijak dalam setiap mata, cuba untuk mengelak daripada membuat kesilapan," kata V Shem.
