Pemain beregu lelaki badminton negara, Goh V Shem, mengakui sukar tetapi tidak mustahil untuk dia dan pasangannya, Tan Wee Kiongm melayakkan diri ke final Siri Jelajah Dunia BWF walaupun hanya mempunyai dua kejohanan lagi.
Saingan akhir Siri Jelajah Dunia BWF memperuntukkan hanya lapan pemain terbaik dalam setiap kategori layak beraksi di Guangzhou, China, 12 Disember depan.
V Shem dan Wee Kiong kini berada di ranking ke-10 dan mereka hanya punyai dua lagi kejohanan, iaitu Terbuka China dan Masters Korea bulan depan untuk mengutip mata sebanyak mungkin bagi merebut slot tersebut.
Mereka gagal melayakkan diri tahun lalu, namun mereka muncul juara pada 2016.
"Saya tidak dapat bermain di Denmark dan Perancis. Selepas ini, saya masih ada kejohanan di China dan Korea Selatan.
"Saya rasa kami masih ada peluang untuk layak selaku lapan pemain terbaik dengan syarat kami perlu mendapat keputusan terbaik dalam dua kejohanan itu," kata V Shem.
Dalam masa sama, V Shem berkongsi perkembangan kaki kirinya yang menunjukkan perkembangan positif walaupun cedera sebelum ini.
Kecederaan itu menyaksikan dia terpaksa menarik diri daripada Terbuka Denmark dan Perancis.
"Saya menjalani latihan ringan dengan kini proses pemulihan sudahpun berada di tahap 70 peratus.
"Saya berharap kecederaan ini cepat pulih dan saya boleh kembali menjalani latihan seperti sediakala," katanya.
