Pemain beregu campuran negara, Chen Tang Jie, menganggap penyertaannya dalam Kejohanan Badminton Remaja Dunia di Bilbao, Sepanyol awal bulan ini sebagai pengalaman berguna, khususnya melihat corak permainan peserta China.
Tang Jie berkata pemain China memiliki kelajuan pergerakan dan kekuatan fizikal, yang menjadi kunci kekuatan kebanyakan pemain negara itu.
"Ketika kejohanan itu, saya belajar mengenai aspek kerjasama acara berpasukan dan kekuatan mental.
"Dalam foktor kelajuan dan kekuatan, kami kalah kepada China. Jadi, selepas ini kami akan berlatih lebih keras lagi," katanya.
Tang Jie, yang bergandingan dengan Toh Ee Wei, gagal menggugat beregu pilihan utama, He Jiting-Du Yue dari China, apabila tunduk dalam peringkat suku akhir kejohanan itu.
Gandingan negara yang diletakkan sebagai pilihan ke-16 itu tewas 14-21, 11-21 dalam masa 27 minit.
Walaupun gagal mencipta kejutan untuk melangkah ke peringkat akhir, pemain berusia 18 tahun berkenaan tetap berpuas hati dengan prestasinya.
"Kali pertama kami digandingkan bersama, jadi saya rasa persembahan kami pada hari itu bagus tetapi malangnya kami kalah kepada pasangan China," katanya.
