Gandingan beregu profesional negara, Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi, mempamerkan kebangkitan untuk merangkul gelaran juara Kejohanan Badminton Masters Thailand apabila mengatasi lawan dari China menerusi aksi tiga set di Stadium Tertutup Hua Mark, Bangkok hari ini.
Yew Sin-Ee Yi diletakkan sebagai harapan terakhir kem negara untuk menjulang kejuaraan dalam Masters Thailand apabila turun berdepan Huang Kai Xing-Liu Cheng.
Beregu negara itu menghadirkan tentangan dalam set pertama selepas dikerah mengejar kedudukan sebelum mengekori rapat 18-19.
Namun, momentum tersebut gagal diteruskan untuk Kai Xing-Liu Cheng memenangi set pertama 21-18.
Enggan menyerah, Yew Sin-Ee Yi kembali memperkemaskan aksi dan akhirnya mendahului di kedudukan 11-10 sebelum mengheret permainan ke set penentuan menerusi keputusan 21-17.
Taruhan negara di ranking ke-20 dunia itu terus menguasai permainan untuk memimpin perlawanan 11-9 dan aksi positif tersebut diteruskan sehingga mereka memuktamadkan kemenangan 21-17 selepas berjuang lebih sejam.
