Turun selaku pilihan ketujuh kejohanan, pasangan negara itu bermula perlahan sebelum tewas 19-21 dalam set pertama.
Mereka kemudian kembali menyalakan harapan dengan aksi kemas dalam set kedua sebelum memenanginya 22-20.
Bagaimanapun, bekas pemenang pingat perak Sukan Olimpik Rio 2016 itu gagal meneruskannya dalam set ketiga dan terpaksa akur terlepas kejuaraan dengan kekalahan 19-21.
