The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) have postponed their decision whether to continue or split the Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong partnership.

Technical director Morten Frost previously said the matter would be resolved last week, but the BAM were unable to decide on their future partners respectively should they part ways due to the lack of options available.

Teo Ee Yi and Ong Yew Sin have been performing too well to be separated, while Goh Sze Fei-Izzudin Rumsani are still young.

The other men's doubles pair available is Loh Juan Shen-Chooi Kah Ming.

BAM president Norza Zakaria, who is also the BAM Coaching and Training (C&T) director, insisted the final decision is still in the national body's hands and will be made very soon.

"Whether or not V Shem and Wee Kiong will be separated, it has not been decided yet," he told Astro Arena in a phone interview.

"As we all know, we have only heard V Shem's side of the story that he has been struggling with Wee Kiong.

"Wee Kiong is currently in Vietnam to meet with men's doubles head coach Cheah Soon Kit to give his explanation.

"We hope any decision made will be studied thoroughly in next week's C&T meeting and we also want to know if they are separated, who their respective new partners will be."
