Malaysian skateboarder Fatin Syahirah Roszizi deleted all her posts on Instagram after receiving abuse on social media.
The 16-year-old, who was one of the Malaysian skateboarders at the 2018 Asian Games alongside Yaziru Amiru Dasyir Zainordin, Ian Nuriman Amri and Christina Lai Grace, finished last in the women's street event at the 2018 Asian Games on Wednesday.
The event was won by Margielyn Didal of the Philippines, with Japan's Kaya Isa and Indonesia's Bunga Nyima bagging silver and bronze respectively.
Shortly after the event, she was heavily criticised for her performance, including being teased as "a disgrace to the national contingent" and "a waste of time and money".
The online abuse led to her clearing her Instagram account (@fatinsyahirahroszizi), leaving behind an Instagram Story with a simple "Sorry, Malaysia" message.
