KUALA LUMPUR, (Stadiumastro) - OLAK got their Selangor Hockey League campaign off to a flying start with an 8-0 hammering of hapless Selangor Police.
OLAK, who have two women in their line-up, opened scoring in the first minute through Dinesh Ramachandran who doubled up his score in the 10th minute and rounded up his hat-trick a minute later.
OLAK's other goals were scored by Pragesh Ramachandran (3rd), Abdulla Sani (14th, 28th), Satesh Kanabathu (30th, 34th).
Injuries coupled with the embarrassing scoreline was more than Selangor Police could take and the second half was abandoned as they did not have enough fit players.
MBPJ also proved their mettle after overcoming a 3-0 deficit to draw 3-3 with RAMD who took a 2-0 lead at half time.
